Terms of Service

Important: HabeSec and the HABE engine must only be used on systems you own or have explicit written authorization to test. Unauthorized testing is illegal under the Computer Misuse Act, CFAA, and equivalent EU laws.

1. Acceptance

By using HabeSec you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Description of Service

HabeSec provides adversarial simulation and security gap assessment for log-based detection systems, powered by the HABE research platform.

5. Nature of Results

HabeSec produces indicative adversarial simulation results only. Not formal audits or certifications. Review by qualified security professionals required.

6. EU AI Act 2026 Compliance

HabeSec operates under principles of transparency, human oversight, and no automated enforcement.

7. Limitation of Liability

HabeSec and its developers accept no liability for decisions made without independent expert review, false positives or negatives, or any damages from misuse.

8. Intellectual Property and Dual-Licensing

The HABE engine and HabeSec interface are licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3 (AGPL-3.0). If you run this software as a network service you must open-source your entire platform.

Commercial Licensing: Enterprise use without AGPL-3.0 obligations requires a commercial license. Contact habesec.research@proton.me for pricing.

9. Changes to Terms

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hellenic Republic and the European Union, including GDPR and the EU AI Act 2026. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Athens, Greece.
